The number of hearing accessible locations in Finland increased significantly!

The number of hearing accessible locations has increased every year and last the year the rise was record high. In 2021, induction loop systems in more than 150 locations were quality mapped according to international IEC-60118-4 standard. As the result of Qlu-mapping induction loop quality-maps are installed at the entrance of the premises and published in hereuhear.com hearing accessibility portal. Hearing aid users use the quality-maps to find the places for optimum hearing experience with hearing aid in T-position.

Hearing loop quality-map should be placed clearly visible in all gathering locations equipped with audio system (AV- PA-systems, multimedia, conferencing system etc). These include theatres, cinemas, concert halls, auditoriums, churches, classrooms, public transport station etc. In addition to room loop system, we test also counter loops systems according to IEC-60118-4 standard to ensure equal services for hearing aid users at service and reception counters.
